The Seed to Store program was an innovative, grant funded venture that nurtured relationships between local farmers and urban grocery stores and bodegas. The program included marketing and an online ecommerce platform that simplified ordering and reporting for program participants and administrators.

Developed for the City of Indianapolis Urban Ag Innovative Production grant, the Urban Food Connect program developed avenues for small businesses and socially disadvantaged farmers to capitalize on distribution opportunities. The program also aimed to encourage new revenue streams while decreasing food waste by providing support for value added products.  Food costs for local crops were also included to enable some food giveaways in low income neighborhoods.
